Welcome to Milk Jar Candle Co! Over the past 5 years, Milk Jar has become a household name in sunny Calgary, Alberta, Canada and has been regarded for its yearly donations to non-profit programs that support people with disabilities. Since 2016 Milk Jar has donated $1 from the sale of every candle and diffuser to non profits that support people with disabilities.
Donations as of January 1st, 2022 now total $156,707.61.
Milk Jar is also a role model for inclusive employment with 40% of the current staff living with a permanent disability. At Milk Jar we currently offer two distinct products: The first consists of two lines of candles: one with plant-based essential oils, and the other with premium phthalate-free fragrance oils, each candle is hand poured, features premium coconut-soy wax, wooden wicks, and 10 oz glass for a quality burn time of 45-50 hours. The second is a line of 2 oz reed diffusers scented with premium phthalate-free fragrance oils that feature 10 fibre reed sticks and have a 3 month lifespan. Milk Jar remains locally manufactured, and a staple in Canadian apothecary with over 180 stockists across Canada. At Milk Jar, our passion is in our product, but our vision is in our community.
