Scamp & Dude are a fun childrenswear brand who find inspiration for their playfully contemporary designs from superheroes, using adorable slogans and characterful imagery to form the basis of their exceptionally crafted children’s apparel and interior collections.

From something dark came something light

Scamp & Dude was created by Jo Tutchener-Sharp, founder and previous MD of Beauty Seen PR.

In October 2015 Jo’s life took a difficult turn when she suffered a brain haemorrhage. She had to leave her children for a lengthy stay in hospital to undergo life threatening brain surgery.

Every parent understands the feeling you get when you have to leave your child, whether it be a business trip or first day at school. That knot in the stomach and the ache in the heart.

It was this moment that inspired Jo to create a brand that helps children feel more secure when apart from their loved ones, and Scamp & Dude was born.

 The Superhero Sleep Buddy is at the core of the collection. These stylish shaped cushions are available in two adorable superhero characters, a cute bunny and dinosaur. Even though they look super cute, the pair are bursting with special superpowers to watch over the child at night and keep them safe. For every Superhero Sleep Buddy sold another is donated to a vulnerable child via chosen charities Don't Forget the Kids, Grief Encounter and the leading London children’s hospital. 

The Superhero Sleep Buddy also contains a pocket for photographs of loved ones, to keep them close by. This could be of someone not with them anymore, a parent working away on business, a grandparent, or simply a family photograph to comfort the child nightly.
